The Brook emerges softly and slowly – like the tiny trickle of as stream. Its pace increases early in the piece, and like a metaphor for life, the music twists and turns, ebbs and flows. Composed for Grade 4-5 Pierrot Plus ensemble, this short piece with lots of activity is a fun concert opener!
