A House Divided is a 1913 domestic comedy about a young couple –  jealous spouses and their attempt to live apart in the same house. Alice Guy Blaché was one of the earliest film directors. Blaché pioneered many techniques in Paris at the turn of the last century, and she also co-established a film company, Solax, in New York in 1910 – the company that produced this film.
